Benefits of hot yoga…it’s life improving!

Why hot yoga?

Hot Yoga is a therapeutic sequence of postures practiced in a heated room. This prevents injury, allows for deeper releases within the muscles, and detoxifies the body. In our Hot Yoga sessions, the room is heated because of the many benefits higher temperatures can offer. Heat keeps the muscles limber as they move through various poses. It also releases endorphins that can reduce stress and increase the heart rate, which helps the cardiovascular system and burns more calories. Hot yoga also increases sweat production, which is good for the body because it exfoliates the skin and removes unhealthy toxins that can clog the pores and cause blemishes.

Experience hot yoga in a studio made for hot yoga

It’s important to know that not all hot yoga studios are created equal. Some studios don’t properly regulate the humidity and temperature, which can be unhealthy and hinder normal breathing function. Our studio is specifically designed for hot yoga. Studio South’s state-of-the-art system keeps the air pure and eliminates harmful bacteria. We offer the best air quality available to maximize your sessions in a healthy, controlled environment. Our cutting-edge environmental control systems reduce humidity when it’s too high and increase moisture when it’s too low.

Candlelight Hot Yoga (60 min)

Special music and the soft light of candles make this class a special treat.

Hot Flow (75 min)

This is a class of continuous movement where you transition, or flow, from posture to posture, synchronizing the breath with every movement. This class deepens the principles taught in the Hot Yoga Sequence. The class is 75 minutes and is heated. This is a great class if you are looking to step up from an hour but are not quite ready for 90 minutes.
