Sometimes you feel like the heat, and sometimes you don’t. Our unheated classes provide many of the same benefits as our hot classes with a little less sweat.
Balance and peacefulness result from attention to breath as we move through physical “asana” yoga practice. Modifications are suggested as needed. Open to everyone with the ability to move through seated, standing, kneeling, and reclined positions unassisted. If unable to perform the above, Chair Yoga is recommend.
Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility through standing or seated yoga poses specifically adapted for seniors at any level of health and fitness. Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported-no need to bring a yoga mat.
This is a class of continuous movement where you transition, or flow, from posture to posture, synchronizing the breath with every movement. This class is unheated.
Beginners are encouraged to take 3 unheated yoga classes before taking unheated flow.
Slow down with this quiet Yin practice that targets the deeper connective tissue with the aim of increasing circulation and improving overall flexibility. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes with the little muscular engagement supported by props. Settle into deep stretches in this meditative yoga practice. Beginners welcome!
