  1. Hi Katy!

My name is Kailee Karst, and I’m a physical therapist in Richmond who specializes in pelvic health and pregnancy/postpartum physical therapy.

I just wanted to let you know that Progress PT in Glen Allen will be hosting a 3 weekend yoga prenatal teacher training this fall. The training will be taught by Kelly Cox (LCSW and doula) and is open to anyone who works with women in the prenatal and postpartum periods.

The training will be an 85 hour intensive training that will teach about yoga and movement in the prenatal and postpartum periods, and will provide a lot of valuable information for anyone who works with prenatal and postpartum women. It will go over topics relevant to pregnancy and postpartum and will foster growth in teaching and ability to modify classes for these populations. I think that it would go hand in hand with all that you do!

The training will be three weekends (September 13th-15th, 20-22nd, and October 4th-6th), and will be Friday evenings from 4-8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am-7pm. The investment for the 3 weekend course is $1500, but if students register and pay be June 1st, there is a $100 preregistration discount.

If people are interested in signing up, there is a $300 pre-registration fee which goes towards the cost of the course, and they can call (804)-270-7754 or e-mail me directly to sign up! The event can also be found on Facebook (

For more information about Kelly’s background, feel free to check out her websites:

Let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to pass along my information to anyone you know who might be interested!

    Wishing you all the best,

Somehow we missed this but it’s so amazing how everything works out since we had 3 of our instructors attend the training! They absolutely loved it!!
